This includes straight forward explanations of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. We explore how the body breaks these nutrients down and uses them for energy, growth, repair and our health.
In addition, this course keeps you up to date by discussing superfoods, phytochemicals and the newest topic of gut bacteria and probiotics. In addition, you will gain a better understanding of diabetes and heart disease, be able to tell your omega 3’s from your omega 6’s, what oils you should be cooking with and which foods contain higher quality proteins.
